If we love and follow God, and have faith in Jesus, he will give us Happiness. We cannot be Happy without God. We cannot be Happy in sin. If we are Unhappy it is because we are straying away from God. If we are Depressed, it is because we have turned our backs to God's love. Sadness and Depression are God's way of telling us that Sin does not make us happy. If we want to be happy and not depressed, love God with all your heart, body, mind, and spirit, and he will make you happy. Happiness is a gift from God and is given by God and is dependent on God.
"Pride goes before destruction, an arrogant spirit before a fall".
Pride is the first sin, of which Satan, had, because he used to be Lucifer, the most beautiful angel, and was second to God. But because of his pride, he wanted to be God and have God's throne. See, Pride means that if you want to be happy without God, that is pride and it will cause you to fall. This means that anti-depressants, like Prozac, will cause you to fall because it will help you to be happy without your reliance and attentiveness towards God. This is why Prozac and other psychiatric pills are referenced to the sorcery, the alchemy of which the greeks call "pharmakia". "By Babylon's Sorceries, the Nations are Decieved". Revelations 18:23.
This means that psychiatric pills will deceive the nations, meaning millions and even billions of people. They will turn their backs to God, using psychiatric pills to make them happy with the ways of the World, the ways of the Flesh. Sorcery is the divination by an alleged assistance of evil spirits. Prozac and psychiatric pills will open pathways to demonic influence. That's why a lot of people on Prozac have commited suicide and have problems associated with it. Even the drug companies say themselves, that 9 out of 10 patients have problems taking the prescription.
There isn't a test to show you are depressed. You simply tell your shrink that you are unhappy and he gives you a prescription for it. But he doesn't tell you that you need God for happiness, and that God will make you happy.
