beautiful Julie Woodward commits suicide because of Zoloft

AntiDepressant Horror Stories
A Christian Healing Ministry site shows AntiDepressant Horror Stories

Julie Woodward was a beautiful, intelligent, popular, studious, disciplined, ambitious, and caring girl.
She attended North Penn High School in North Wales, Pennsylvania.
And Julie Woodward had been a happy girl until her junior year in high school, when she began exhibiting some difficulties. She experienced a break up with a boyfriend, began staying out late with her friends, and did not study as much as she used to. She also became depressed, was irritable most of the time, and her grades dropped significantly.
And a diagnostic test that she took at school confirmed what many believed, that Julie was indeed suffering from depression; so she entered a group therapy program at a local clinic. Two doctors at the clinic convinced her parents, Tom and Kathy, to put her on Zoloft, which is in a class of antidepressants known as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, or SSRIs.
Julie's behavior actually got worse after only a few days on the medication. And on the third day, Julie was arguing with her mother when she lost control and pushed her to the floor -- Everyone in the family was shocked because Julie had never pushed her mother before. "It was an out-of-character act," Tom Woodward said.
And over the next few days, Julie became extremely irritable and she could not sit still. Julie was usually very calm, but she kept pacing incessantly. She also became reclusive.
Six days after starting her treatment with Zoloft, Julie called her father, who was on his way home from a business meeting, and told him she did not want to attend the swim meet that her mother and some other family members were already attending.
She told her father not to come home, but to go directly to the swim meet. She then told her father that she loved him.
When Tom and Kathy returned home later that evening, they thought that Julie was in her bedroom, so they did not go up to her room until they were ready for bed, at about 11 p.m. And when they did go to her room to say goodnight, Julie was not there.
They thought that she decided to stay out late, so they went to bed.
The next morning, when she still did not return home, they began calling friends and family, but could not locate her.
Tom began searching the neighborhood, but was unable to locate her.
Tom then went to their detached garage -- and it was there that he found her.
Julie had hanged herself.
"I went to her and grabbed her and said, 'No, God, No'..."[But] it was too late -- she was gone," said Tom.
Julie was 17.
She died on July 22, 2003.
The day after Julie passed away, their neighbor, North Wales Mayor Douglas Ross, shared some information with Tom and Kathy that outraged them. Douglas said that he did some research and found that SSRIs had been linked to suicidal impulses in some children. "It may not have been Julie," Douglas said, "it may have been the medicine."
"We were never even warned to watch for 'a bad reaction,' '' Tom said. "We were dealing with mental health professionals and we believed what we were told. If we had been told that there was even a slight risk, a mention of the word 'suicide,' Julie would be with us today."
Tom began doing his own research. "The more I read and the more I learned, the more angry I became," said Tom.
So Tom and Kathy began contacting other parents who had experienced similar tragedies. And soon Tom and Kathy became activists and worked diligently to educate others about the risks of SSRIs with children.
Tom and Kathy have spoken at hearings about the safety of SSRIs, including FDA hearings.
"Every time that I've had the opportunity to speak out on the subject, it's our way of telling Julie that we love her," said Tom. "I think that's given us strength and direction and focus, and if we can go out there and help one family or one child -- then that's something good.
Tom and Kathy continue to work tirelessly in their efforts to warn others about the risks of SSRIs when taken by children.
Julie Woodward is missed by many.
And Julie is now an angel.
We miss you Julie.

It is Written Television program on Depression: "Depression and It's Cures"

"Depression and It's Cures"
(excerpt below)
NN: Well, the most common treatment is medication. More than $20 billion is spent
in this country on medicines alone. And many of these medicines are expensive.
There are all sorts of antidepressants out there, and they’re flying off shelves. But
they’re not a cure-all. They’re not the fix.
JB: Is it true that antidepressants are the largest selling classification of drugs?
NN: Correct.
JB: Is it helping?
NN: Well, it helps 20 percent of people to the point where they’re no longer
JB: Two out of 10 depressed people take medication and essentially get over the
NN: Correct.
JB: Two out of 10. But with eight out of 10, not so much.
NN: Eight out 10, right. In fact, three out of 10 won’t experience even a slight
improvement with the drugs. Even with a combination—if you give them four
antidepressants and raise the dose—they’re still not going to respond. So three out of
10 will have zero response to medication. And then what’s left in the middle are
those who get a slight-to-moderate response, but are still clinically depressed and
still suffering from it.
JB: Half of the people taking medication for depression are still depressed even
though they’re taking the medication.
NN: Exactly.
JB: Now I’m thinking of the cynic who says, “Oh, come on.” But this is statistically
NN: Oh, absolutely. In fact, if anything, I’m stating things more in favor of the
pharmaceuticals than the statistics are actually showing. So I’m quoting drug
company data.
JB: You got this data from what the drug companies say.
NN: Yes.

It is Written Television program on Depression: "Depression and It's Causes"

It is Written: Scritpt of "Depression and It's Causes" (exerpt below)
JB: Okay, well, what causes it? What are these underlying causes?
NN: Well, there are 10 categories of causes that we uncovered in our research. And
there are actually over 100 separate identifiable causes for depression, but they can
be categorized in 10 different ways. You have to have four of those categories of
causes before you end up with depression or anxiety disorder.
One of them is frontal lobe causes. That’s the one we deal with first. The frontal lobe
of the brain is the front portion of the brain. It’s the analytical portion of the brain.
Scientific studies show it’s the seat of spirituality, morality and the will. It’s the
reason why we are spiritual beings. Human beings worship because our frontal lobe
size is so much greater than cats and dogs. You don’t see them in worship services,
because they can’t identify with it.
But the frontal lobe circulation, when it goes down, is a major setup for depression or
anxiety disorders, and there’s a lot of different things that can fit under the
categories of what can suppress or enhance frontal lobe function.
JB: Such as? What are some things that suppress frontal lobe function?
NN: Rapid-moving video games. Fast-moving entertainment on television. They
suppress the frontal lobe of the brain.
JB: And most people are feasting on that every day.
NN: Right. Certain types of music. Syncopated rock-and-roll music can actually
suppress the frontal lobe of the brain.

JB: Something else that much of the population is into.
NN: You know, the interesting thing about this, John, is a lot of the things I
mentioned that detract from frontal lobe function, people do as a way to achieve
This is the ironic thing: there are more fun things to do than ever before in human
history, yet we have more depression than ever before in human history. If these fun
things actually prevented or cured depression, then we should see the lowest rates of
depression on the planet.
These rapid-moving video games can actually suppress the frontal lobe of the brain.
A lot of this screen time does suppress frontal lobe function.
And when we’re not really exercising the spiritual part of our brain, when we’re not
involved in worship, when we’re not involved in spiritual analysis or reading—like
the Bible, and analyzing scripture with scripture—that’s going to be a hit as well. It’s
not that we necessarily have to have the Bible, but we need to have some sort of
abstract analysis that can help frontal lobe function.
JB: I see.
NN: So the second area is exercise, actually, lifestyle causes. Physical exercise
actually helps the brain.
Under the lifestyle causes, there’s also sunlight. The light and the blue sky we’re
under here at Weimar actually helps depression. It improves serotonin levels in the
brain. So when we’re indoors, not experiencing outdoor light, we’re getting a hit with
Then there’s not regularly breathing fresh air. Here at Weimar we’ve got these
beautiful pine trees exuding negative ions—just breathing that in can help with
The third category is circadian rhythm. This has to do with our sleep-wake cycle and
our regularity. The more irregular we are in schedule, the more that is a blow to the
brain. The brain likes a regular regimented schedule, and the best circadian rhythm
as far as optimal performance for the brain is early to bed, early to rise.
You make more melatonin and it’s one of the reasons why almost across the board—
successful businesspeople—tend to be early-to-bed, early-to-rise people. Highly
The only exception to that is the entertainment industry, and those individuals, of
course, have much higher rates of depression, but they’re late-nighters just because
of their occupation.

The fourth category after circadian rhythm is nutrition. What we are putting into our
body actually gets turned into neurotransmitters. The American diet is short in
omega-3, not high in tryptophan and carbohydrates to the degree to make enough
dopamine and norepinephrine and serotonin. So we do a good nutritional analysis
on our patients and change that factor.
The fifth has to do with addiction hits. If you’re addicted to any substance or nonsubstance,
be it gambling, pornography, alcohol—any addiction can actually be a
setup for depression. Not in and of itself causing it, but if you have three other causes
and that, it’s going to tide you over into rather severe depression.

"He who sits in Heaven shall laugh"

"He who sits in Heaven shall laugh" Psalms 2:4
"God has made me laugh, and all who hear will laugh with me" Genesis 21:6
If we love and follow God, and have faith in Jesus, he will give us Happiness. We cannot be Happy without God. We cannot be Happy in sin. If we are Unhappy it is because we are straying away from God. If we are Depressed, it is because we have turned our backs to God's love. Sadness and Depression are God's way of telling us that Sin does not make us happy. If we want to be happy and not depressed, love God with all your heart, body, mind, and spirit, and he will make you happy. Happiness is a gift from God and is given by God and is dependent on God.
"Pride goes before destruction, an arrogant spirit before a fall".
Pride is the first sin, of which Satan, had, because he used to be Lucifer, the most beautiful angel, and was second to God. But because of his pride, he wanted to be God and have God's throne. See, Pride means that if you want to be happy without God, that is pride and it will cause you to fall. This means that anti-depressants, like Prozac, will cause you to fall because it will help you to be happy without your reliance and attentiveness towards God. This is why Prozac and other psychiatric pills are referenced to the sorcery, the alchemy of which the greeks call "pharmakia". "By Babylon's Sorceries, the Nations are Decieved". Revelations 18:23.
This means that psychiatric pills will deceive the nations, meaning millions and even billions of people. They will turn their backs to God, using psychiatric pills to make them happy with the ways of the World, the ways of the Flesh. Sorcery is the divination by an alleged assistance of evil spirits. Prozac and psychiatric pills will open pathways to demonic influence. That's why a lot of people on Prozac have commited suicide and have problems associated with it. Even the drug companies say themselves, that 9 out of 10 patients have problems taking the prescription.
There isn't a test to show you are depressed. You simply tell your shrink that you are unhappy and he gives you a prescription for it. But he doesn't tell you that you need God for happiness, and that God will make you happy. This psychiatric prescriptions, are Satan's dark demonic power of deception to lure people away from God, so that their happiness comes from a pill, and not from God. One could argue that you could take prozac and say that that happiness comes from God.. but "Faith comes from Hearing the Word". This means when I read Revelations 18:23, it tells me that many strange, alchemical, hermetical, pyschiatric, pills, MK Project chemicals, mind-bending chemicals are the sorceries that are indicated in Revelations 18:23.
